Find a Pharmacy

We make it easy for you to find a pharmacy. Even when you travel out of state, you can access our nationwide pharmacy network by using the searchable pharmacy directory or the printable pharmacy directory (PDF — March 28, 2024).

We call the pharmacies in this directory our "in-network pharmacies" because we work with them to provide prescription drugs to plan members. In most cases, your prescriptions are covered under AmeriHealth Caritas VIP Care Plus (Medicare-Medicaid plan) only if they are filled at a network pharmacy or by using the mail-order prescription form (PDF) and brochure and directions (PDF).

After you go to one pharmacy, you do not have to keep going to the same pharmacy to fill your prescription. You can switch to any of our other network pharmacies. We will fill prescriptions at out-of-network pharmacies under certain circumstances. See your Member Handbook (PDF).

We also list pharmacies in our network that are outside of the plan's geographic area.

How large is the pharmacy network?

You can fill your prescriptions at network pharmacies nationwide. AmeriHealth Caritas VIP Care Plus contracts with PerformRx℠ to provide Medicare Part D prescription benefit management services.
